Ratpoison i have been told that u are from ohio. So what kind of truck do u have n what class do u run. Plus if u are running in a prostreet, u arent being concent about what u have to do to lighten a newer truck. If u have the money to built a newer prostock truck u are taken nchanging the motor to start with to get close to 540 cubis. Right?

WTPA is a non profit club, all of their help is volunteer, Milt Lebe is the president, And he also works full time as a truck driver and runs one of the Decision Maker sleds at alot of FPP pulls. It takes at least 10 people to run a pull,WTPA has to do it on average with 5, the same 5 people volunteering their time that don't even pull or get paid. That's why the pullers line them self up and get weighed. I thank Milt, Richard,Sharon,Lee and Ray every pull, :occasion5: Because without them there would be no WTPA. As far as them being a joke....Ratpoison, Why don't you walk up to Milt or Richard at a pull and tell them that,I'd like to see the reply :violent1: ..WTPA has their meetings every 2nd Tuesday of the month,You don't like the way it is run,Then sign up and you be able to vote on rule changes, They are looking for members..
Also George's 07 is pretty complete from what I seen, George will make that thing pull good at any weight. Its real showpiece,It even has new carpet in the cab Its as nice as that 39, Man I give him alot of credit, He is one heck of a body-man :salute:

I'm Sorry Rick for getting off the subject, I know This is to talk about the 2010 Street Licensed 4x4 class, I Hope to see everybody Thursday

Yes Deiter I had a truck got a truck and biulding a new truck. Mark I got no problem with Milt or George actually know them pretty well so don't point it out like I'm downing either of them. Milt's probly the best sled operators out there. WTPA has just went to hell in last 4 years and it has more to do with than just being undermaned thats my opinion and I stated it and will stick to it. I also know george and he can make anything you put infront of him pull and his knowledge is why anything he biulds is in a class of it's own and can't just be thrown in like it was.
I'm not just trying to start beep just trying to get a point acrossed and get :blob6: off when you gotta argue a basic FACT(just hang around the scales when they are weighing showroom trucks at any local pull and watch how many of them actually enter overwieght).

Rick is trying to put together 2 "street" classes The first is going to have alot of daily drivers or just dual purpose toys, so the rules should be made to accomidate these trucks. This isn't going to be a purpose built only class or it would defeat the purpose of makeing the class, and will still have the fair boards on ricks arse since most of them only see trucks and thats it. The second one is going to still be a purpose built class so ya your right they trucks in it will make the rules nomatter what they are. I just originally started out with stating my opinion that you need to allow room in the pro street class for the street trucks to be able to bump up when they hit that point since being able to build a new truck is out of the question for many and they just keep adapting their trucks to meet the class they wish to pull the same as you did when you took your old yellow truck from HO to Modified to Street and back again. It doesn't personally matter to me what the weight or rules are since my truck will make they all. Just want to see the sport go in the opposite direction than its going and allow more opportunities for guys to get into or back into it, wanna see the days when you'd go to a pull and the pits were full of trucks not empty space and this is never going to happen again when guys are always trying to get the rules to fit their trucks and abilities and not the masses.

That's funny, last week at a westmoreland pull 2 of us in showroom couldn't make weight so we asked EVERYONE in the class if they wanted to bump weight 100 pounds. EVERYONE agreed to it.

A few weeks before that a dodge couldn't make weight and ran exhibition. It all sounds pretty honest to me.
